History
Customized Payroll Solutions was founded by Ken Harycki CPA. Ken has extensive business experience, having served as a CFO and V.P. of Operations for a national company. Eventually Ken decided to pursue the American dream and go into business for himself. He founded Customized Accounting Solutions and started consulting with small companies and start-ups who, like he were trying to build a business while working 16 hours a day, 8 days a week for very little pay. As they say, the rest was history.

Ken had built up a successful accounting business in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. One year, one of his clients asked his firm to investigate the payroll fees that the client had been paying to one of the national companies. At that point, Ken realized that the national firms were providing poor customer service and intentionally confusing customers with a complicated pricing structure. Furthermore, an examination of some of the national firms revealed that these firms were making significant money off of the float from customer’s money. At that point, the idea of Customized Payroll Solutions began to form.

Many clients later, we are happy to say that the idea of upfront honest pricing is catching on. We wish to thank all of our existing businesses. We know that our success is owed to them.

We’ve built our firm on the principle of great service. We don’t try to make the quick buck the way the national conglomerates do. We have an honest upfront all inclusive pricing schedule. Additionally, we don’t make money off of your float. No money leaves your accounts until it is absolutely necessary. When the payroll does leave your account, it always goes directly to the source. Unlike the national companies, your money never goes into our account.
